BUILD STRENGTH. MOVE BETTER. PERFORM WITH PURPOSE.
AIP Performance is built for people who want more from their training. Through intentional strength & conditioning and performance coaching, we build stronger bodies, better athletes, and lasting confidence. How? With a plan designed around where YOU are and where YOU want to go.
Anthony Puente, Founder
Anthony Puente is a San Antonio native, performance coach, former Division I football player, and former Division I football coach with a passion for helping people discover what they're truly capable of.
His approach to training has been shaped by years spent on both sides of high-level athletics. A graduate of John Marshall High School in San Antonio, Anthony went on to play college football at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), where he later returned to coach. Since entering the fitness industry in 2018, he has spent more than eight years coaching in corporate fitness across California, Arizona, and Texas. He has worked with athletes and everyday individuals alike to help them become stronger, faster and more confident that translates to much more beyond the gym walls.
Today, Anthony specializes in strength and conditioning, athletic performance, HYROX and hybrid training, and individualized fitness coaching. His coaching style combines the structure and standards of competitive athletics with programming that meets each person where they are.
Anthony believes training should be about more than simply looking fit. It should prepare you to perform — whether that means competing at a higher level, completing your first HYROX or endurance event, getting stronger, improving your health, or simply becoming a more capable version of yourself.
Every session has a reason. Every program has a purpose. And every athlete — regardless of age, experience, or starting point — is coached with the expectation that they are capable of becoming more.
Anthony's mission is simple: help people build strong bodies, resilient minds, and the confidence to take on challenges they once thought were beyond them.

What clients say after training with AIP.
"I'd never stuck with a program longer than a month before. Having the check-ins on the portal kept me honest even on weeks I didn't see Anthony in person."
"The 1:1 sessions are worth every dollar. My programming actually changes as I get stronger instead of repeating the same routine."
"I coach remotely and still feel accountable — the weekly check-in review and messaging make it feel like I'm still training in person."
